PC USB, works on tablet, TV, and monitor

There will be really good news this year and it will be a new part of a technology that might be either successful or a failure. Dell is planning to release a computer that is 3.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide which is basically the size of a normal usb device. This device will act as an computer which you will be able to plug it in to a monitor or a TV. This device has also 2 ports for the mouse and the keyboard, and it also supports touch screen. It's chip is called the ARM system created by an unknown vendor. The price of this device or the Ophelia will be less than 100$. This device would be working on the cloud network, and it is said that this device will have the Android Operating System which will include 8 GB of memory and an SD card slot up to 32 GB. You are able to plug in this device through USB or MHL, which will support the 1080p or the HD mode.

The author had many advantages, in which he clearly got exact numbers on what he is describing on, I think that giving the actual number is always good so people would know it in real life. He also showed a picture of it comparing with glasses which gives us a better understanding of the size. I also find the author really good that he actually told us what OS it will be using and he mentioned it will function really good on a tablet. This would give the readers enough information about thinking to save money for it, rather than just buying a tablet now, in which I'm really interested because I want to buy a tablet but when I see this article I decided to wait for a while. This device would be released probably in the 6 month.

Potential Problems/Limitations/Disadvantages

There is mainly one disadvantage that the author had in which when you scroll down, the text below the picture looks like it's copied and pasted into this website because it's lined up into own lines with quotes in some lines. I feel that he has this disadvantage because readers might think that the whole article is from somewhere else and you will lose interest in reading. Overall this is the only problem he had in this article.

One big question I would like to ask is that will it be possible for them to make such a thing because I'm really interested in buying one of these which could save me lots of money actually getting a tablet. I would like to also ask that will this new device be useful for education or just for applications because it's using an Android, and I want it to run a windows 8 because in Androids you are unable to run many things that a PC can do. The biggest change I want if this device does work, is please make it to windows 8.

Play Station 4 and Xbox 720, The Next Generation Gaming Consoles

News has been out that this year would be the golden year for the gaming consoles. In the next few month the very big projects will be released the Play Station 4 and the Xbox 720. This article states that these game consoles will have a giant leap in the hardware, in which they will have like a new generation of processors, which is the orbis and durango that includes 8 processors working at 1.6Ghz. These new consoles will be using CPU's that are in lower price laptops, but they state that they perform in a doubled way, than normal processors. These new generations game consoles are becoming like laptops because they will be including the Radeon HD  graphics. These new consoles will also contain a high amount of on board RAM. The Play Station 4 will have up to 4 GB of Ram, and the Xbox 720 will have 8 GB of on board RAM. The estimate for the release of these new Generation Game Consoles are in November so prepare your money.

This author has a lot of adavantages in which all the facts he have given are trustable, and reliable because they seemed to be supported with examples. I clearly believe what the author said that game consoles are becoming more like laptops itself having much more speed, and graphics. I also think that the title the author used is also an advantage because "Giant leap over current generation hardware", I think that this title really grab peoples attention including me.

Potential Problems/Limitations/Disadvantages

One main disadvantage that this author had is that, I think he would have found more information about these consoles in which I did a little part of my research and found a bit more about these consoles. Maybe I might be mistaken because some information out there could be fake. Another thing I found is that this site has a lot of advertisements so the article might been made up.

Discussion Questions

I would like to discuss this topic in class so badly because it ties to games and it will grab a lot of attention from the students in our class. I also would really like to know the real specs when it is going to be release because there is a possibility that these consoles might turn into a PC, which I find kind of cool, which the future game consoles like an Xbox will be able to play on the PC due to the mix and matches.

Applications for Cars

I find that it is really amazing to have smart phones in our daily lives because they give comfort and the ability to be connected. The idea about putting a smart phone into a car is also really awesome because it is also giving huge comforts to user driving and using a built in smart phone. Ford and GM announced about this new technology containing the programs SDKs and APIs. These two systems are really different because the Ford style is to let the user bring their own smartphone and connect it to the car itself. GM actually set up a built in smart phone in the car to ensure that people would actually use it because some people today still don't have smart phones. I think that bringing your own smart phone and connect it with your car is way better because you don't need to transfer the informations all the time after you have downloaded something new. Ford also stated that people change their smartphones more times than they change a car so connecting the smart phone would be more beneficial. The next huge thing is the app developers because they need to create new apps the will suit the car, which is basically apps that requires sound control from the user like Siri in which today we don't have a well developed app that can understand humans better.

This author had quite a few advantages in which his arguments had examples telling which car industries are developing this system and whats the program name called, which I think is really useful because readers are able to know more about it and do their own search on SDK's and API's. Another advantage is that the difference of Ford's and GM's ideas about building it in our bringing your own smart phone, the author gave both the "goods and bads" about bringing your own smart phone or having it built into the car.

This author had two negative side or disadvantages because he did not at all describe about what kind of apps is going to appear in this technology which means that he didn't research about what apps will be really useful during driving and I really would like to know about that. In this text there are too less facts that he brought up so maybe it could just be a rumor or a made up story because I only saw 2-4 facts about this technology.

I would like to know when will they actually release this technology and I find it really interesting to actually have a smart phone that is able to talk to you in the car and you are able to drive without looking at the screen. I think that this technology will reduce the number of accidents that happens during driving because people might pick up their phones and crash but here you just connect it to the car and it will tell u everything about who is calling. I also would discuss that if they really finish developing it will be efficient?
