What is machine language and how is it difference from human language?

Machine language is the language that a computer or machine uses to understand a certain code that they are able to understand by having a programmer imputing the codes. An example of a machine code is either having a 0 or 1 in the older generation computers. The machine language is different from our language because only machines are able to get it and it involves numbers a specifics codes the mean different things, or human language is just words that we put in a sentence which able us to communicate to each other. The programming language is what we call the half human, half machine in which the computer helps translate a message to help the programmer understand the message.

Who was the first computer programmer?

The first computer programmer is named Ada Lovelace who is a female.

What did he/she created? Explain that in detail.

Ada created the first programmable computer in which she based her ideas from Charles Babbage who was the first one to actually think about having a programmable computer. He made this Analytical Engine which was the first step of a programmer which he couldn't be able to finish because of many issues, so Ada took Babbages notes and develop the system by adding more possibilities like methods to complete the program which made her the first perfect programmer.

WiFi Scanner for Windows 8 Phone?

After introducing you guys (readers) into the windows 8 system already now lets scan into the features of the windows 8 smart phone. Microsoft in partner with Devicescape develop this technology where a windows 8 smart phone is able to scan and find the best quality WiFi around the area or the one that is commonly use by most of the people. You are able to turn it on or off in which turning it on will minimize the number of hot spots appearing because the system will only search for WiFi that are free, that has no security lock and it would also take out the WiFi that might do harm to your information. It will only be able to detect the most famous hot spots around the area which will safe time from you for searching the right one that is connectable also. This system will also provide you are map which shows you where the hot spot is coming from so you don't accidently click into somebody else's WiFi. This technology would be able to serve a better comfort on  helping us to find the correct free hotspot and save our time.

The strengths the author have is that he clearly described what this new technology will do in which he gives examples what it can do like he described that it is able to find the best hot spots around and shows a map. They are strengths because it able the people know more about this technology and what it can do so people who are interested in buying this window 8 phone know what good specs that this phone has that is different from other smart phones and he made sure that people know how this technology is beneficial.

Potential Problems/Limitations/Disadvantages

There a few problems or negative side of this article in which I think that the author repeats most of the information about this technology too much which I think that reading the article for a long time thinks that it's boring because of the repetition of many things. Another disadvantage about this article is that the author uses  hard vocab so readers might get bored like me in which I find the topic interesting but the author's explain-nation really boring after reading which makes me lose interest in the topic.

Discussion Questions

I wonder many things about this article in which the first question I want to ask is that is it true that this system will show the map of that hot spot which I think that it might be possible. Another question I have is that will it be possible to be used or enforce into Thailand because this article is based on America. I always face problems finding a free WiFi in Thailand at many places and I also want the best WiFi because if the internet is slow I always get mad.

Why upgrade to Windows 8

Windows 8 has been around for a while now and many users are willing or trying to upgrade into a windows 8 desktop instead of the old windows 7. Windows 8 took almost 3 years to develop in which it shocked many people because why did Microsoft take so long to develop it which it's most contents are the same as windows 7. In this article it states that the windows 8 has many new and different upgrades that will for sure impress many users because of its faster speed and the ability to do more things than the old windows 7. Then windows 8 also have a huge surprise in which it will be able to link your pc and your windows 8 tablet or phone that Microsoft are also making. There are quite a few upgrades in the windows 8 in which the core upgrade is the faster speed or the boot speed. If you shut down your computer it will be faster too. Another improvement is the security in which hackers will be able to break through really hard. The last update is the power management  which you will be able to have many different styles such as a better power saver.

The author has a lot of facts about the new windows 8 in which he is trying to talk to the people who are interested in buying this new product which he guided pretty well because he had pictures and statistics proving his point such as the speed improvement where he compared the booting speed of windows 8 and windows 7. These things are strengths because the author is trying to clarify the readers by saying why the windows 8 is beneficial to buy.

Potential Problems/Limitations/Disadvantages

I think there are 1 disadvantage that this author has in which he should have been describing his experiences on windows 8 even more because all he gave was statistics why windows 8 is good but not many of his opinions himself are included, so this article would have been good if the author had written about what he think is really good after using it for a month. The people also want to know what other people think about windows 8.

Discussion Questions

The main big question I have here is that when will this school will change the computers to windows 8. I want to know if its possible or not because myself have never tried using the windows 8 before so I would like to try to use it and see if there is a difference or not. This would also prove all the authors points he just mentioned.

Tablets? Main entertainment of life?

By looking at the title of this post you can easily guess what this it about which it's about tablets getting involved in our daily lives. Tablets have become something that we use everyday in our lives because research has shown it that people usually play games by the most on tablets during their free time. In this modern society we also have prove that people use tablets more than smart phones at home. It also proved to us that we are now not glued to TVs anymore but instead we are to tablets because of their usability.
Our TV usage in this particular modern day has been decreasing sharply because of new inventions that keep us entertained during our free time such as game consoles like xbox, or PS3, or even the smart TV which something more than a TV.

Potential Strength/Advantages

The authors point about the iPad having a big industry or impact on peoples free time, is really true because in these days many people in the world has tablets and I think that people rarely open their TV but they use their tablet instead because it has many uses such as social networking, or even the TV itself able ling people to multi-task which allows them to switch between apps so it's better to have a tablet now. The author also has evidence which is a strength is the diagram about the comparing of tablets and smart phone usage which helps to prove to me that games are something really popular that people do during the free time.

Potential Problems/Disadvantages/Limitations

I think that the author has many interesting a true facts about this because I really think that people use a tablet more than a phone at home. Something that makes me wonder is that he made a point where he said that TVs are being used very less but he didn't mention poor countries where most of the people are unable to purchase tablets which proves that people in poor countries still watch more TV. I think that this is the only disadvantage or problem because he didn't mention the country, but I think that a country like America this facts are true.

Questions

There are a few questions I want to ask the author in which I want to know the actual number or the number of tablets people use in America because we are able to compare it with the amount of people watching TV which I think is kind of true. I also wanted to know more about which game console is being used the most during peoples free time.

In class today Mr. Pete thought us about Photo Shop in which I already have many basic knowledge about it already so it's like a fun class for me where I did play around with many effects and here the picture that I created.

History of Smart Phones

Smart Phones have been around us for twenty years in which it's able to change our lives in a sort of a way that allows us to be in a more comfortable and easy world. News has been out that there are more than a billion smart phones used since twenty years which is really amazing. There are many amazing smart phones that has been used throughout 20 years which some are going to be the legendary ones that really bought us comfort such as Apple's Iphones, Sony Ericsson P910, old HTC, etc. These phones has been evolving massively having more application and speed able to benefit our daily lives.

Potential Strength

The first fact that the author use is that he mentioned about smartphones has been around for twenty years and over a billion people use it. I think that the authors ideas are trust able because he really showed the generation of smart phones by having an example picture of a popular smart phone made in that year for 20 years. His number which is is 1 billion makes sense because everybody in this generation uses smart phones. These arguments are strength of the author because they are true facts that help me understand the topic better. He also had a short explanation about the evolution of smart phones which become touch in these days.

Potential Problems/Disadvantages/Limitations

I think that the information in this site or topic is really less but it's very rich in pictures so the disadvantage is information. The author could have added some more info describing each generation of phone that he could research on the internet briefly saying some specs about the phone and explain more about the evolution.

Questions

Some questions I have about this article is that I wonder how much the speed of a smart phone increase after each year which makes me think even more deeper that are the speed always increasing or staying the same from 1-3 years which I think that many people want to know the answer to this. I also want to discuss with the class about the different processing cores and how it's developing over the years.

Halloween Special

3D Video of iPhone 5

Rumors has been out and a 3D video of iPhone 5 is released in which it is a comparison of Apple new iPhone and Samsung Galaxy SIII which is already released. The new features of the phone are not yet out but the basic over view is already pending. This new iPhone will have a thinner screen, and a fewer pin dock connector. This iPhone 5 will have far more features and updates than the iPhone 4s in which for sure it will have a better megapixel camera. The old features that iPhone promised might also be inserted into this new iPhone in which you can check on my blog for the old updates that didn't show up in iPhone 4s.

Potential Strength
The phone's body is thinner and the screen is bigger. The authors idea are trust able because the pictures attached to the site are reasonable in which it really looks thinner and smaller compared too the old iPhone 4s. The point that author mention is that these pictures are leaked but the features are not which proves to me that Apple is still developing the phone in which it is not 100% made yet.

Potential Problems/Disadvantage/Limitations
The information on this site is still very less in which they could insert more details which makes the supporting arguments not that reliable. Checking another website for more information could proves the authors points.

Questions
There are quite a few questions that I wonder in which the pictures that are leaked are stated on the site that it was found by "RazorianFly" by just looking at the name I think it's not that reliable and trust able. My second question is that the video comes out with the Samsung Galaxy SIII in which I think that are the Apple people trying to attack Samsung by comparing their new phone to the popular Samsung Phone. Maybe it can be a make up story by a iPhone lover and mentions himself as an Apple worker.

Social Studies Hurry

Just to say that exams are coming really fast many teachers in many classes are speeding up their lesson to catch up with the time that has been wasted, so in Mr. Randy's class he started to speed up his class completely by giving us 4 more study guides to work on. His plan is to finish all of it by next week by giving one at a time but for me I ask for all the study guides to do and he gave me all of them so I started to work on it which I already finish all so I could focus on my language arts project. The study guides includes the history of countries gaining independence and the biggest chapter the fall of the soviet union. I find the fall of the soviet union the most interesting chapter to find out about.

The fall of the soviet was really interesting because it will completely change the world from a nuclear war which is really concerned at that time. This man called Gorbachev change the world completely because he gave the people more rights in the soviet union and many new nation broke apart from it. He is considered the man of the year because of his big change allows the world to live in peace because he also stopped the cold war with America which I think is a really big change in the human history. After reading the whole chapter I really became interested in this topic.

Weekly ICT

This week we did nothing really new to me but it is like a review for us in which we get to use photoshop, indesign, and illustrator. We are completing the next step of promoting our restaurant in which we use the sketch up model that we made to make a poster by adding measurements and labels to it. In the poster we include 2 pictures which is the top and 45 degree front view of the restaurant. Then we took the picture and we remove the background of it by using the magic wand tool and we change the tolerance to be 5. We needed to add our own text by using our creativity in which I included many effects such as the drop shadow one.

We are really behind Mr. Pete said in which the holidays which gave the other class more time than us. Exams are also coming up very soon which we really need to speed up our work and start reviewing in which our superstar teacher Mr. Pete will do and help us get really good grades in ICT. I think that Mr. Pete is a really caring teacher because he wants to review for us which is really good and we know exactly what to review for. All the lessons that he thought me I really remembered all the techniques and I would be really fine on the exam if he went over all of it again.

Harry Potter Remote

Have you ever sat down at your home opening your TV and got bored of your remote? Good news is here because there is a new wand type remote like Harry Potter's wand which has no buttons. The Kymera Magic Wand which is wireless and it has 13 gestures to it. This wand has functions that you could really never forget because by just flicking it to the left or right allows you to switch channels. Turning the wand in a circle once would adjust the volume. There are also many other new functions that could be use by just turning your hand around. The company also said that this technology would not bore you to death but it's a new way of using the remote controller.

I think this is another weird technology of the year because who would think of using a wand to be there TV remote. I think that the inventor is just a big fan of Harry Potter and he has nothing to do so he makes this wand to look like he is applying magic to the TV. I really don't think that this technology is surprising because the wand is way bigger than a normal TV remote and by just putting the wand somewhere could change something because by just lying it down somewhere could change the channels and volume because of it rolling on the table. The company did not talk about how to close it while laying it down. Overall I think it is a fun experience of having a wand like this as your remote.

TRANSCENDENT MAN

The first technology that I learned for sure is the ability to be immortal or the ability not to die. This technology I thing is very important to know because we don't need to sit down and worry about death which can affect us in a good way and a bad way. In the good way it will keep families and citizens happy not to let somebody passing away which is really a good technology that could really happen in the future. On the bad side, I think that the bad side would probably effect the world even more because of the ability to be immortal, the world would be over populated. This effect would then cut the supplies or food on this earth because many people = more food. This technology would really going to effect my life because maybe this generation of teenagers would never die anymore, and we will be the first ones testing it.

The second technology I learned from this movie is robots which I'm really interested to know about because these artificial life forms could cause a really big impact on the world. This technology is really important to people now and also in the future because I think that robots will be like our slaves, friends, or even maybe your parents because technology will be so advance that you will be able to program the robots to do anything you want by giving feelings, etc. This technology also has two sides the good and the bad side which I think again that having too much technology is really not that good. On the good side is that we will reduce the amount of work which been done which robots will do instead of us. Another point is that these robots could also be friends with humans which I think is also very good. The bad side is that we will get lazier and lazier because if we did have robots they will do all the work and we would be siting at home and doing nothing. The better thing to do is always exercise. Overall I think that the bad side always outlays the good side.

The third technology that I learned about is the ability to turn off and on your genes in your body. This will be another future technology that will benefit our bodies and life in many good ways rather than bad ways. This technology now we are already developing it and fixing it. The importance of this technology is really high because it will be the key to health and many other new things. This technology would really effect today's humans and the future humans because having the ability to turn genes on is really good because you could cure any disease or even do things like swimming in the water without breathing because of evolution we are able to do these kinds of stuff because of our genes. I think that this technology is the only technology that will have the good side outlaying the bad side because on the bad side it is just humans using this power in a bad way which could cause many problems. I really find this technology the most interesting after watching the move.

Songkran Break

Songkran break is over which is really sad because we don't get to wake up late. Songkran this year is really fun for me because I did a lot of stuff with my family which is really enjoying. First my cousins came to Bangkok to have a little trip. Then I went down south with my cousins to Nakhon Si Thamarat to meet my other cousins and enjoy. What we did in Nakhon Si Thamarat is that we visit a water fall and went to a beach which is really fun because my cousins were there and its very cool because these days its really hot. After that we had another really good dinner which tasted really good because it is seafood. After Nakhon Si Thamarat now its time to go to chumporn which is my cousins house. My mother and father stayed at my grandmothers house but I decided to go with my cousin. After that I was just playing computer game with my cousin the whole day and almost the whole night. Another thing that I find really fun is watching football with my cousin. After playing games for so long time passes really fast because its really fun and I keep forgetting about school. After some time I found out that it is already Thursday which means school is coming up soon No!!!  After playing lots of games we decided to go to the beach again. This time we just played in the swimming pool because it is really hot. After that the fun time is over because it is school time again in which it will be the last quarter and exams will be coming up.

Windows 8 Transformation Pack

Have your ever been waiting for something really badly, or you are bored of using the same windows over and over again. Good news is here because you can change the look of your legal windows 7, vista, and xp into the windows 8 look like feature. This look like feature would probably prepare you for the real system that will be out this year. The look like system really looks similar to the windows 8 but the functions are still your old windows functions. Songkran is coming

As you know Songkran is a Thai new year celebrated on the 13-15 April of every year. Our school is going to have a very long break from studies which makes me very happy because every year in Songkran I will be going down south to celebrate it with my family. Songkran is a really important festival in Thailand because each member of the family will be able to see each other again. Sonkran is also a festival where we pay respect to elders and other family members. The big huge part of Songkran that I like is when the water festival begins where many teenagers in Thailand enjoy it because of the fun and the coolness of the water which makes and hot day a cool day.

For Songkran I always get excited about the water fights because it cools us down and its really fun especially when you play it with your friends and cousins which makes it double fun. Songkran is really enjoyable not only for kids but also for the elders because they will be able to share their life events and happy throughout that they have experience which will also be fun for elders. This year Songkran will be a very special year for me because my cousins will be coming and we will be having lots and lots of fun here in Bangkok itself because of the big festival hosted in many roads.

 

Korean War Video

In social studies communism has been a really big case study after world war II because many other countries are fighting to be communists, so there have been many war erupting such as the Vietnam war, Chinese war, Korean war, and many more. We also had many pop quizzes on these wars which I did pretty good on. Mr. Randy now introduce us to a new unit the Korean war where he showed us a movie based on the war which I thought was pretty professionally made and really showed realistic scenes of the war which was enjoyable. Many of my class mates hate it because of the violence involved in this movie which I think was pretty awesome the why each character act. We also need to write a reflection about this movie if the scenes were like the war or not.

Watching movies for me is pretty boring but watching movies about war is awesome for me because in this movie it really showed how everything turned into ruins and how soldiers fought in battles. The fiction story in this war was also follow able and interesting which includes a big brother trying to send the smaller brother instead of being forced into the war. I thought that this movie was pretty awesome and real fun to watch because it looks really realistic and amazing which shows real blood and soldiers getting injured including buildings getting destroyed and fights between the two sides. I really suggest you to watch this movie if you are learning about the Korean war.

      This is a book not the movie because I can't remember the name of the movie!

Weekly ICT

This week again we are working on our long term project sketch-up. This time we actually made our floor plan by giving exact measurements and ideas. We had to make our own design with correct measurements and let Mr. Pete our superstar check it. Mine was approve the very first time, so my next step was to pull the floor up and pull the walls up. The floor where 4 inches and the walls are 9 feet which is very direct. In my design I have many rooms including private and public rooms. My special part is the game corner which will make many not enjoy only the food and the view but also the game corner. Now Mr. Pete was not here so I need to make my own components but bad news happen everything got deleted so I needed to make all my components again.

The next week we will be doing the same thing which is going to be fun because we are able to put in our creativity. I was unlucky because suddenly the view got cut and I was not able to return to the normal view. I learned a lesson that I should continue sly save my work. I also tried to do my best when Mr. Pete was not here by using his techniques but using my very own design instead of his. The next time we work on it I will now save my work and do a great job in designing my restaurant. Lastly I also hope that Mr. Pete will earn his master degree by working hard for us.

Big Mama Character Analysis

1. Why did you choose this character?
There are many bits  of information in the book that tells lots of information about he and it will be easy to describe her in the project. He emotions, actions, and dialogues will help me understand Big Mama easier.

2. Is the character static or dynamic? What makes you think so?
Big Mama is static because she always say the same thing over and over again and her feelings are always the same like caring and worrying which makes her static for sure.

3. Is the character round or flat? What makes you think so?
Big Mama is round because throughout the play she expresses her feelings so that every reader knows all of her traits to make us understand her way better which is a round character.

4. What type of person is the character?
she is quite a smart and a thinking character while she cares for the family so that it doesn't fall apart. Her emotions are pretty awful and she links her emotions to her care-ness. She like Brick more over Gooper. She is very extreme so she is an extrovert.

5. What parts of the story makes you feel this way about the character?
The part that I think that made me feel this way is when Big Mama first found out that Big Daddy got cancer. She looks really worried and cared after she heard it which made her think that the family is going to break apart when Big Daddy dies.

6.  How is the character's society the same and different from yours?
This character's society is very different form me because they live in a stressful society where there is fighting over money and many other other family problems. Big Mama stresses to much and cares really much for the family, so there is a little similarity in caring for the family.

7. How does the character view his/ her own world?
Big Mama views the world in a really positive way where she thinks that Brick did nothing wrong and thinks he is innocent. In the family point of view she thinks its negative because her feelings looks pretty worried and concerned that night affect her positive view on Brick.

8. Is this view realistic? Yes or No and Why?
I think that the view is realistic because she really have no way to fix it and she really looks stressed out in a really negative way stressing about her family problems. If it's not realistic Big Mama will be laughing and enjoying which she did not do.

9. Would a person behave in real life like the character does in the story? Explain in detail.
I think that there are families that struggle like Big Mama in family problems. There is for sure one person in the family who don't want to break the family apart just like Big Mama who wants the family to be normal with no fights and corruption.
 

iPhone 5 Update

Many articles are rooming around the internet world about Apple's new iPhone 5 which will be released in this year for sure. The iPhone 5 will be a bigger change the iPhone world because it will have many new functions that will benefit the users for sure. There are also a list if rumors which the iPhone 5 will have such as, the dock plug, 4.6 inches screen (very expensive), and many more. There are also many new surprising functions that Apple will add in like the iPhone 4s siri which no one have ever thought about. There are also a big list of functions that users want to have and Apple might be able to add in based on the users recommendations. The most famous function user recommend is the bigger screen, micro SD memory card instead of phone memory, and for gamers is the flash player.

Very good news out there again, to iPhone lovers because it will be a new generation of phones that would be really function able to our daily lives. One thing I recommend Apple to add in this new iPhone is the flash player, and the micro SD memory card because it will allow you to extend your memory instead if buying the 32 GB iPhone which will cost lots of money. Having flash would be able to let you play many flash games on the internet that will make many people enjoy for sure. The credit card function and easy pay function is also a good function that might be included in the iPhone 5. Many people are waiting for this Phone and I think it will be another big change in the society for sure.

U15 Soccer Tournament

Some fresh news here. I just wanted to say that we had a soccer tournament on Wednesday 21. There is a total of 9 teams that attended which is a pretty high number. In the morning we had to leave at 8:15 so we could make it on time there. The tournament would be a full day event. Our school draw our first game against St. Andrews, which I think that they play very unfriendly and selfish. Our second game was way better were we won KIS 1:0. Our third game was pretty harsh because he took another drew against BCIS 2:2. Our last game was the most awesome game on that day because it was against Charter which we needed to score at least 4 goals to concede to the finals. Our history was made when we beat them 8:0.

In this paragraph I would be talking about the final game against SIS. Me myself was pretty scared and obsessed because it was the final game and anything can happen. We started off losing a goal, about 5 minutes later we made the tie. Then it was half time. We had our drinks and hydrated ourselves as much as possible. After the game the results that came out was shocking because we lost 2-1 which made many off us really sad and compressed. We came back home with only our 2nd place certificate not the trophy. At least we tried out best to play and we enjoyed the day.

The Space Race

Reading the title would probably make you think of the cold war. Yes, we are studying the cold war in Social Studies and it's a really interesting unit to learn. Including in the cold war winning between the Soviet Union and the Americans are very important including the race for the space missions. So what we did in Social Studies was a very important event that happened in 1969 which is when America, first send the first humans to the moon. Our task was to debate if it was true or not. I was on the fake side, which we research on the internet for some arguments. We had many major ones and minor ones which an example is that there is only one source of light on the moon but there was two on a picture. There were no stars on most of the pictures. The debate went pretty awesome I think that we won.

Studying about space is really interesting to me because it's quite a fun and important event that happened and there many secrets to uncover also. I think that the space is huge which means that there will also be another life form living somewhere in another planet. Going to the moon is like the first step into the space of the human history. Later on there will be more landings and discoveries for sure. The cold war was like a competition for Americans and the Soviets because both of them wants to always be the number one nations, so an event to travel into space is also like a war.

 

Weekly ICT

Another awesome week has past by and we had so much fun in our ICT class. We were on our biggest and the most interesting topic sketch up. Now after Mr. Pete our superstar have thought us a lesson last week to introduce us to it, now he made us make our own restaurant sketch. Mr. Pete was absent on Friday which means that we need to do everything by ourselves. I started off doing a article review and then the challenge came. I needed to make our design the first part of my own building. I had a pretty awesome start because my building looks awesome thanks to Mr. Pete the superstar.

ICT is really fun because we get to learn new stuff every week that is so interesting to learn because of Mr. Pete's teaching skills. I was pretty happy getting to design our own restaurant. I also tried my best to used all the techniques that Mr. Pete thought us as much as possible. I was pretty happy to have a teacher like Mr. Pete  teaching us ICT. Another reason I find sketch up interesting is that we get to do imagine our creativity to put on our sketch up and design our very own restaurant. Techniques are really required to sketch up because we need to know how to make each side equal in length, which is very important to make our building look good. Below is the sketch I made on Friday which I tried my best to do.

 

Windows 8 Update

A very big world shocking rumor is going to come out very soon. Windows 8 will be another technology that will be highly accepted by the world like the apple products. Windows 8 now has been developing over the past few years and there are many bug fixing system that is happening for its release this year. Some problems it has is the mouse and keyboard function which Microsoft wants to cancel out. Windows 8 will have the comp-ability to have touch screen. That's why they wanted to add the mouse and keyboard system because many people would be complaining about the touch screen function which some people don't really like about. I think that having a multiple input system is pretty good because it allows you to access things faster and easier. Google Chrome is also now compatible with windows 8. Windows 8 will also have apps for you to play on also which requires an account.

Another new good news that would have a big impact on the world. Many people in this world are also waiting for the release of windows 8 like the IPad 3 which just release. There would be 10 times more people waiting for the windows 8 than waiting for the Ipad 3. Microsoft had not release something in quite a while but their big campaign is Windows 8 which would be another huge conflict in 2012 that is going to happen very soon. Windows 8 is like the next change in the history of the world that would change the world into a new age. One thing I don't like about this is that, we need to change all our computers again and waste a lot of money to but the new expensive system.

Language Tool?

Have you ever had communication problems with other people from other countries? Good news is here because now you will be able to communicate in other languages with other peoples. For example, you have a very old friend living in Russia but he forgot how to speak English, so it's very hard for you to communicate with him. Now there is a new software that has been develop which allows you to talk into a mic and this software would convert your voice into the language you wanted. This software is now tested by language speakers and being developed better, so that your voice won't be changed that might lead to corruption and prank calling. This software will have a total of 26 different languages including the hardest language Chinese. 

Very good news again for the communication system all around the world because you would now be able to communicate with the people all around the world. This program would linked every people all around the world even more because every person in each country will have their very own voice translator. This technology would also help in the movie industry because it won't waste peoples time translating the movie into your countries language. This would change the movies language in seconds without using any people to make the voice casting for each character. This technology would really have a big impact on the world because it will  make people even more lazy to learn other different language, which will have a good benefit and a bad benefit in many ways.

Band Audition

This week we had so much stress because we had so many events happening at the same time. One of it is the band audition where we needed to perform one song in front of many important people in this school to judge who is going to attend the battle of the bands the next two month. Our band was pretty unprepared because we haven't got many things together that well. The singing the playing and many stuff which we needed more time to prepare off. On the audition day we were pretty worried which made us think that we night be embarrassed in front of many people. But on that day we never gave up and we tried to do or best which we were not embarrassed and we played pretty good.

The results that came out were pretty sad but we just need to accept it because we had less time to prepare and we did pretty well. Out of 3 bands we came second which was pretty shocking to us because we thought that we would be last because of our bad organization. The results that came out was also pretty shocking in another way as well because that band we thought that played the best came last place which really made us think that is there anything wrong with the judging or not. We played our best and tried our best so it made many of us happy and enjoyable to play.    

Social Studies Test

This week in Social Studies we have our biggest challenge ever because we has a full big test about World War II. After Mr. Randy pass out the papers of the test to me a was pretty shocked because it looked very easy to me. The first section of the test was classifying pictures of famous people. In this section I thought it was pretty easy because the pictures was quite straight forward and easy to name. The second section was the short answer section which was again easy, but of course I studied very hard I find it really easy to me and it was really simple one word answers. The third section was the most challenging because it was the long critical thinking section that needs lots of writing. The topics were pretty easy and straight to complete. The final part of the test was the bonus section which the question was, Will there be any changes in the World if Germany and Japan took over.

The next day in Social Studies we did another interesting topic which is the cold war. This war might be the most dangerous war in history if it happened. Its about the two super powers America, and the Soviet Union. This war was just about atomic bombs and the H- bomb or the dangerous Hydrogen Bomb, that is 10 times stronger than the atomic bomb. If this war had happened the whole world would probably be destroyed, and it would wipe out the whole entire human race. This war was really dangerous because if one side attacked the other side it will change the world into a lifeless place and nobody will survive. This is also another interesting part in history because it depends on the entire human race.

Weekly ICT

This week in ICT we did , something really different because it was the world education games week. On Monday we did nothing much we just wrote our weekly Monday article review. Check the post below for my article review about Samsung Galaxy beam. On Wednesday Mr. Pete our super star teacher let us finish our world math day score which was a pretty good class because many people were able to finish their 50 matches to make our school in the top 50s in World Maths Day. Our school did pretty well this year because of Mr. Pete giving his class time to finish our World Maths Day target which I find really thankful of Mr. Pete. On Friday Mr. Pete also thought us ICT that is related to math by using sketch up.

In this paragraph I will be talking about the skills he thought us about on sketch up. Mr. Pete our super star always told us to be accurate by using the tape measuring tool to make the sides always equal. He also thought us the technique called inferring which is using the push pull tool to make our walls to be the equal size of the other walls. Mr. Pete is very good at connecting the class with other subjects which will be really helpful for us in the other classes in the future. His class is the class that I will never ever will forget because he makes it really fun and interesting to learn. This sketch up teaching might turn some of the students in his class to become engineers and construct actual buildings and earn money as a job. Mr. Pete of course is an inspire that we should respect.

Samsung Galaxy Beam

Have you ever dreamed of having a phone that will allow you to present your pictures, videos, and text. Good news is here because now Samsung have invented a phone with a built in Projector which is pretty cool because it allows you do show stuff on a flat surface which will make the screen bigger and cooler. The specs of the phone are also quite awesome because it has a dual core processor, 6GB Ram, but a very less powered camera. The other features of this phone are still normal like a Samsung Galaxy because it keeps it simple design, screen size, still an android that functions pretty normal. Only the projector is the cool new feature that makes this phone really different.

A very new weird news for the smart phone market because I have never heard, or think of a phone that has a projector that is built on to the phone. This technology will allow people to teach better in a community where there are no computers for example in Africa where somebody who has this phone could go teach using the projector. This phone would be a new useful technology for the education industry because teacher will be able to present their stuff on a white board which is pretty cool because in Thailand there are many schools that don't have computers so the Thai government could give out these phones to the teachers. Another big problem that might happen with this phone maybe the battery might be finishing quickly or it might heat or burn up some parts of the phone so its maybe not that safe yet.

Battery on Cars

Wow good news for the world and the whole entire human race. Now cars will be able to run on batteries, for 300 mile range. More good news is that these cars $25,000-$30,000 in price which is pretty cheap. One thing that makes the car probably expensive is the battery because it will cost in addition of $40,000 which makes the car and the battery combined will be about 1.4 million baht. The battery works by using a chemical reaction which allows the electrons to harvest and creates voltage that allows the car to run. Envia (battery company) would probably take another 3 years to develop the technology and it will be released in to the markets. The other big problem is cooperating with the different companies of cars to develop the slot in system and allows the battery to be able to function well.

Really good news out there because very soon there will be the first cars that will be on stock which will allow you to run your car with electricity which would save the world from Global Warming and nobody would use oil. Many car companies are also developing the system to be able to run with electricity or batteries such as the German cars industry like Benz are developing the new cars to fit with the batteries. Many people are now still very worried with the prices of the cars because it is going to be really expensive because the energy source will be very cheap and very easy to find. Electricity is like a source that we have enough or an unlimited energy source which will make a better world and save global warming.

Band Practice

Band season is coming up again, and our band Over Drives are getting ready for a new performance again. Our practice is held on every Tuesday before after school. Our two songs that we are playing is Dirty Little Secret (All American Rejects), and Give me a Sign (Breaking Benjamin). Of course we can only play two songs for the Battle of the Bands held in KIS. We still have a really long list of songs we want to play. This year it is not easy to go to the competition because we are in High School and in our school we have another band competing against us for the position. It will be another hard and challenging task again.

We should really start practicing and really be serious at playing this year because in the High School division there are many other good bands that are going to be participating also which makes us so competitive to win the trophy this year but our task is to beat the other band first and then try to win the Battle of the Bands. Our journey still is a long way to achieve but we are going to try our best to win at least something. If anybody is interested come visit the music room every Tuesday before school ends.

    

Debate in Social Studies

In Social Studies we will be having a huge quiz on World War II, so for just a small review we are debating a topic about World War II, which is " Is the Hiroshima Bomb Justified or not?". Of course this debate was really interesting which cut our class into half because many people have their different ideas. I was on the side that was saying it is not justified. Our big huge main argument was that the bomb killed many innocent citizens who were living in the city. Our solution was to use small bombs or bombs that deal damage in a particular area such as the military base which would save more lives than bombing the whole city. Another minor argument is that the US has a bigger and advance technology which would probably be easier to save more lives.

Debating was really fun because we get to know other peoples opinion on the debate topic. Debate was really fun for me because it allows us to express our opinion on the debate and it allows us to argue with your opponent which creates friendship and understanding on the topic even more. Mr. Randy made it right reviewing for the test by debating a topic which would probably allow us to remember more stuff from World War II even more. I should be also studying World War II to get a really high score on the test and be very proud of my self.

Weekly ICT

In ICT this week we didn't do anything that much because we are starting to review for our quiz on Photoshop,  In design, and Illustrator. Mr. Pete our superstar teacher was again like our super hero because he reviewed most of the basics for us such as, making the text to become a shape, adding a rectangle at the back of the text to make it look better. One big technique that our super Mr. Pete thought us is changing a normal picture into a vector. He also though us to remove the white background which is really useful because it allows us to insert the picture on in design without needing to bring pictures froward or backward. Effects and design is also important because Mr. Pete our superstar is always showing us new effects we can do on Photoshop to any picture we want.

Mr. Pete is really talented and skilled in design because his ideas are so creative and interesting to know because it will help us in the future for sure. We should also make Mr. Pete proud of us by doing really good on the quiz so he doesn't feel bad wasting his time teaching us. Basically on the quiz we should use all the technique Mr. Pete the superstar thought to make a good design and a perfect design to make him proud of us. I will for sure do really good on his quiz because I took his lesson seriously and I will do my best on the quiz. Mr. Pete class is really good and we should respect it.

Air Blue Sharing

Have you ever forgot your flash drive at home? Have you ever forgot to save your file on your flash drive and came to work without your file? Now there is nothing to worry about because Air Blue sharing is a key to organization. It allows you to share the files of your computer to your phone. Sharing between phones is also possible. This app gives you many new look such as Bluetooth, drop box, and iFile. This allows you to access with any phone that has Bluetooth, even the phones that are very cheap. This would allows you to share pictures videos and many more between your Iphone and other phones that is not an Iphone. This app is a bit expensive but now you are able to get it by jail breaking which is cost less.

A very new good news for Iphone users because you are now able to share or trade your files with other people which save you more time. For example you want to download a song but the internet is so slow, your friend next to you has the song but he is using a nokia. You just get the app and you will be able to receive that song from your friend. It's been so interesting seeing computers and phones evolving just like animals because it getting more compatible with us and it allows you to do anything you want with it if you are a person that likes to forget your files.

Bombing in Bangkok?

Recently there was a new big issue that just happened which is Muslims started to bomb cities again. There was one recently in Bangkok which happened like 5 kilometers away from school which is in soi Sukhumvit 71 or Phrakanong. The story that happened is about a Muslim who was fighting with his friend. After that guy came out of the house he asked for a taxi but the taxi refuses to pick him up because he had blood on his hands, so that Muslim got really angry and he started throwing bombs at the taxi but luckily it missed. A police men saw him so he threw another bomb at the police men but he missed and it bounced back to him and injured his leg and finally died in the hospital.

After this case that happened the Thai government announced to be really careful about these people especially the ones who comes from Israel because the Muslims are trying to get their land back so they wanted to wipe out all the Israeli ans for revenged. Doing something like this is really stupid because killing yourself is really bad because it doesn't benefit you and it hurts others Now we should be really careful of Muslims because they might suicide themselves again.

  

Hiroshima

When you first see this word "Hiroshima" you would probably think of atomic bombs. This is what we did in our Social Studies class, we studied about the atomic bomb that have been use on Japan in world war II. This bomb really changed the old age into the new age because this bomb could really wipe out a city in seconds like what happened in Hiroshima which killed many people by burning them or vaporizing them. After the bomb  have been released there would also be radiation which will then kill lots of people later on. What we saw on the DVD was people getting burned or half dying of this dangerous new weapon that America just invented.

The atomic bomb was something that changed the whole world because it could cause lots of people to die. For example in Hiroshima where lots of innocent people are suffering because of this bomb. If there was another world war the world would probably be broken because these atomic bomb could damage the air too. Just because of the atomic bomb that was invented many nations are now struggling to develop it which is really dangerous because look at what happened in Japan where the tsunami hit and broke the atomic center which release lots of radiation into the air.

 

ICT This Week

This week in ICT we did something really different. Mr. Pete our Superstar teacher linked the lesson with the social network that everybody knows which is Facebook. Mr. Pete let us make our own Facebook cover timeline in the concept of valentines. He made us use the program Photoshop and Illustrator to edit the cover photo and we are able to add pictures and objects to the cover which made it look way better. One huge new thing he thought us is how to uses vectors by opening it on the document server which allows us to select new templates to add into our cover to make it look really good.

ICT is like a really good subject that could be linked to any other interesting on the internet such as Facebook. Facebook is something that every student in our class uses everyday. Mr. Pete our Superstar was really smart linking the lesson to Facebook which made many other students really happy. ICT is something that you should really study because it will really help you in the future when technology is very complex and really into the world where every person can be able to get to know it. One thing from the technology is the computer which is getting very complex in our life.

Math on Google Docs?

Have you ever tried working on a math project where you needed to send around the files between the peoples. Now google docs have released the math equation system. It also you and your partner to access the document together and review or teach you math equations that you are not able to answer. This new system allows you to easily insert a math equation by clicking insert and equation. Then you will be ask to create a new equation, and now you will be able to choose your symbols to enter in your document. For more information you can see the picture below for more information.

This is a very good news for students that are studying high standards in math, which allows you and your friend to discuss online via Google Documents. This allows you to finish your math problems easily and its very easy to use because you don't need to find the equations by yourself. Another good thing about this is that your teacher can also come in and help you while doing the problems, by teaching you and fixing the mistakes that you have. This might allow you to learn math online. Another benefit this system give to teachers is that they can assign you the work and you can access and finish your math problems via the internet. Now the technology is getting so good that education is easier by using the technology, you are also able to save paper instead of writing the equations on the paper.

Man U vs Liverpool Again!!!!!

Another match between the two reds happened yesterday again but this time its in the premier league of England which took place at Man U house old traffort stadium. This game was a really close game because Man U beat Liverpool 2-1. Goals that happened are all by Wayne Rooney and from Liverpool Suarez. One big change I notice in this match is that Man U played very good in the second half which really made them get the win. In this match there are also some hard tackles and fouling because most the players that are playing are like enemies in the war.

The premier league if really getting fun now because there will be a fight between Man city and Man U for the top in the premier league which is quite interesting to follow. Football games are like war between nations around the war which allows them to show their skills and beat the other the team. The big difference in a football games is that after the match is over everybody needs to be shacking hands for playing a good game. Overall football is the best sport that you really need to support and cheer your team up to make fun of others who are cheering the opposite team.

Evolution

In science we are now on the most interesting topic of all Evolution. Its about the studies of animals which tells us about how they came from and which animal evolve from which species. We first started off talking about the person who came up about this theory. The person who came with this theory is Charles Darwin who traveled around the world with his ship and observe each animal living in different continents. Now we are going to studying each animal evolving starting off with the first cell. Mr. Brian our teacher also thought us about how life can begin by 3 theories that are possible which allows life to evolve in time.

Evolution is like the main reason I join Biology because we get to learn about the lives of animals and we get to know how each animal changed in time. We also are going to create our group presentation about evolution and each theory that is involved in the first section which will run through the basic view of Evolution. I really like learning about animals and their lives which makes evolution one of the most interesting chapter that I'm waiting for. If we keep getting into detail for sure evolution will be the best lesson I'm going to learn in my life because it keeps me from getting bored in class.

In design Lesson

We learned something very special and new in ICT this week because it involves using the program in design to design our very own restaurant poster. Mr. Pete our super star teacher made the lesson really fun because he gave an basic idea on how to use this program. He first started off by showing us an example on what we need to do, by adding rectangles and text boxes to our paper form. He also linked in design with Photoshop and illustrator, which we need to make a logo of our restaurant. We also learned how to add effects to pictures and text. One really cool thing our super start teacher thought us is to change each letter into an object which allows us to edit each letter how we want.

Mr. Pete is really teaching us a lot of stuff that will be useful in the future because this lesson could really make jobs for many people who wants to create their own magazines and a designer who could edit stuff how ever they want. I would really thank Mr. Pete our super star teacher for teaching us this technique and is always helping us when ever we get stuck on a problem. This lesson would really improve my skills on using in design to work on projects in the future for sure.

NFC in the next Apple Product

Have you ever got annoyed by carrying around your credit cards and sometimes forgetting it? Good news is around which allows you to use the next generation Iphone and Ipad to pay. With this new NFC technology you can buy everything you want without carrying your credit card but just your phone. Rumors had now also came that for sure this application will come for the next Ipad and Iphone which will be release very soon with a awesome application like this one. Now the future phone where you could do anything with it is going to become true very soon. There are also many sides that are going to disagree with this new app because it might not be 100% perfect which might affect the amount of money spend on the item to be higher or maybe lower that might affect many peoples life.

Another new good news to me because I think that Apple are really developing their technology to make life even more advance. Another good thing that might happen in the future is a dream phone that could do anything to you in the future, where you could do anything with it. In the future phones might get turned into robots, we never know what will happen because these phones are getting more advance and complex to live. One thing I really think about that is negative about this new feature is that I might have an error or mistake which will lead to loses in money or gain in money. That is that one thing that Apple really should be responsible about because if something goes wrong who is going to be responsible for it.

More Technology = More Space

What I mean by this is that if we had even better technology we could travel through space. Recently we found planets that humans could be living on, but the only problem is that it will take quite long for humans to reach the destination before their live ends. If we had the technology we could do this easily and we will have our second planet to live on. Another big problem about technology is that we are polluting the world so if we had even more advanced technology we could make this world cleaner and less dangerous. In the future for sure there would be no cars running on oil but maybe they might be using solar power and electricity. In the future for sure there would be many new things to discover because the universe is big and there is many secrets behind it. With an advanced technology the world would have no worries and we would have no problems about global warming. In the future for sure the movies that you see would be reality!

  

Ship Sank in Italy

A very big news topic from the past weeks, because an high class Italian Cruise ship just sank near the shore. This case made 39 people dead or missing. This ship sank just because of the Capetian, he drove the ship in too near to the shore which made many people suffer and he survived. That guy should really pay for what he have did. Many other sides say that he was drunk which made this event happen. There are also arguments that it wasn't the captains fault, but it was a technical problem with the ship which made it sank. After letting out the passengers in a rescue boat, it leaves many other citizens calling the police because of an unsafe reason of the captain. This was the biggest news so far in 2012 which really shocked many people and made many people worried traveling on ships with drunk captains.
